A sea that's alive

The level frames are not screenshots — they are rendered live by the same water as the game. Currents, particles and light are moving right now.

The myth behind the name

Aeolian is named after Aeolus — the keeper of the winds from Homer's Odyssey. When Odysseus begged for passage home, Aeolus bound the storm winds in a bag and let one fair wind carry the wanderer's ship toward Ithaca.

In this game you take the god's seat. You don't sail the boat — you command the currents that carry it. Odysseus needed ten years. Your voyage starts now.
